DAY 01: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/NJP STATION – PHUENTSHOLING (Distance: 160 kms. /Driving Time: 5 hrs.)
Meals: Dinner
Arrive at Bagdogra airport/ NJP station and drive to Phuentsholing. Check in the Hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
DAY 02: PHUENTSHOLING – THIMPHU (Distance: 145 kms. / Driving Time: 4 hrs. 30 Mins.)
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner
· After taking your breakfast proceed to the tourist permit office for biometrics at Phuentsholing and you will drive to Thimphu.
· You can stop at some places where you can take good pictures. You can have lunch (at your own cost) on the way.
· In the evening, you can have some shopping/leisure in the town upon reaching Thimphu. Overnight stay at Thimphu
DAY 03: THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner
After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visits Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here, TashichhoDzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
DAY 04: THIMPHU – PARO – HIKE TIGER NEST (Distance: 55 km. / Driving Time: 1 hrs. 30 mins. /
Altitude of Paro: 2280 mts.)
Meals: Breakfast / Dinner
After breakfast check out from the hotel with bag & baggage and transfer to Paro. Visit one of the famous sites in Paro. Tiger Nest – From a distance, Bhutan’s most iconic building seems to float, weightless, halfway up a sheer cliff face, 900 meters (3,000 feet) above the floor of the Paro Valley. As you wind your way breathlessly up the long, steep path toward Taktsang Lhakhang, the monastery periodically reveals
itself, rising out of the forest, closer and more solid with each re-appearance.
Overnight stay at Paro.
DAY 06: PARO SIGHTSEEING – PHUENTSHOLING (Distance: 150 Km, Time: 4 Hrs.)
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit- Ta Dzong – the National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities, and RinpungDzong – the administrative seat of the district of Paro. After transfer to Phuentsholing.
DAY 06: PHUENTSHOLING TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/NJP STATION (Distance: 160 Km, Time: 5
Hrs.)
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, we will drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP station for your onward flight/Train. We wish you a very safe and pleasant flight/Train for your onward destinations.
